NFTs have gone beyond our planet as some artists have sent their digital assets to space. Axiom Space, a private spaceflight company, collaborated with street artist turned digital creator ThankYouX to contribute art for their recent mission.

ThankYouX's painting, "Urge for Perfection," was launched into space by a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and spent roughly 15 hours on the rocket before docking at the International Space Station.

Micah Johnson, a former Major League Baseball player turned NFT artist/project founder, also sent his NFT project, Akutars, to space. These feats are just the beginning as NFT artists are already exploring ways to expand beyond Earth.
