Former Yale football player Bo Hines to serve as White House digital asset policy advisor

29-year-old Bo Hines will serve as a digital asset policy advisor to the White House, responsible for coordinating communication between the cryptocurrency industry and the government. Hines will work under the leadership of David Sacks, the newly appointed special advisor for artificial intelligence and cryptocurrency in the United States, and is expected to manage a team of 2-3 employees.

Previously, this former Yale University football player ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the North Carolina state congress twice. During his campaign, he promised to push for deregulation of the cryptocurrency industry and suggested establishing a national Bitcoin reserve.
