After the decentralized social protocol Farcaster launched the mini-program Frames, its co-founder Dan Romero was interviewed. He said that currently, creators and users have no direct contact, and developers do not have access to the API. The biggest misconception about decentralized social media is that they are difficult to use, but Frames can allow developers to create experiences for users. It is expected that within five years, decentralized social platforms can reach a user level of one billion. Dan Romero also revealed that he and Coinbase co-founder Fred Ehrsam were college roommates, but at the time, they mistakenly believed that Bitcoin was a Ponzi scheme. After reading the white paper carefully, they completely changed their minds and went to work at Coinbase. Now, he has been working in the cryptocurrency industry for ten years.
