FalconX, a digital assets prime brokerage, has teamed up with UK-based crypto index provider CF Benchmarks to offer access to regulated crypto derivative markets through swaps, options, and non-deliverable forwards that settle to single asset reference rates.
According to CF Benchmarks CEO Sui Chung, derivatives benchmarked against resilient and regulated indices are the primary way institutions gain exposure to the crypto asset class. The contracts provide exposure to bitcoin and ether settled against the CME CF Bitcoin Reference Rate and CME CF Ether-Dollar Reference Rate, respectively.
FalconX's chief product officer, Baris Cetinok, stated that regulated derivatives are crucial instruments for institutional investors to safely access digital assets.
