Euler Finance has announced that the hacker responsible for stealing around $200 million of assets has returned all "recoverable funds." The decentralized lending platform tweeted late Monday that the hacker had transferred 10,580 ether (ETH), worth around $19 million, to Euler.
Blockchain data on Arkham Intelligence confirms the transfer. The hack occurred last month and resulted in the theft of almost $200 million of digital assets, including dai, wrapped bitcoin, staked ether, and USD coin.
The hacker has since returned a bulk of the stolen funds to the protocol and included an apology in a message attached to one of the blockchain transactions.
