Delio, a virtual asset (cryptocurrency) operator currently under investigation by South Korean prosecutors, announced on August 8 through its official news channel that it expects to suspend web hosting services after August 11.According to Delio, "Due to a preservation order issued by the bankruptcy court, any use of various expenses requires prior court approval. We have requested permission from the bankruptcy court to use funds for web hosting, personnel expenses, and other necessary costs for company operations, but approval is still pending."
They further explained, "Web hosting (cloud service) fees are outstanding, and the hosting provider has notified us that services will be discontinued on August 11 if the service fees are not paid within the specified deadline."
According to Delio's statement, web hosting refers to the internet hosting service that encompasses Delio's website, NFT exchange, mobile web/app services, and various company operation systems. In the event of service disruption, all customer services provided by Delio and the company's operational management systems will be suspended.
