On September 1st, according to data from TheBlock, the monthly trading volume of NFTs on Ethereum hit a two-year low in August. The NFT trading volume on Ethereum in August dropped to $407 million, a 32% decrease from the previous month, hitting a new low since June 2021. Among them, X2Y2 fell the most, down 40% month-on-month, while Blur, OpenSea, and LooksRare trading volumes fell by 38%, 18%, and 8%, respectively. According to data from Dune, OpenSea's monthly active users in August fell by 12% to 126,000, hitting a new low since July 2021.
