Crypto VC Firm Paradigm Shifts Focus to “Frontier Tech” Beyond Blockchain and Crypto

Crypto venture capital firm Paradigm is expanding its focus beyond blockchain to include a broader range of "frontier tech" such as artificial intelligence, according to sources.

The company has updated its website to describe itself as a "research-driven technology investment firm" rather than one focused solely on disruptive crypto and Web3 companies.

However, the company's portfolio still includes dozens of crypto-related firms. The shift in focus comes as the crypto industry continues to face challenges, including the collapse of the FTX exchange. There has been increasing industry chatter about the potential integration of AI and blockchain technology.
