Axiom, a crypto startup, has launched its mainnet in alpha mode. The protocol allows developers to write smart contracts on Ethereum that can retrieve data from the blockchain network and perform intensive computations on it.
Axiom uses zero-knowledge proofs, a type of cryptographic proof that can prove the validity of a statement without revealing information about the statement itself.
The startup aims to use the technology to detect deepfakes on the internet accurately and quickly. The coprocessor, a piece of software running in parallel to the Ethereum blockchain, processes data off-chain and transports it on the main chain accurately with ZK proofs.
