Crypto casino Stake has become the seventh-largest gambling group in the world by revenue, generating nearly $2.6 billion in gross gaming revenue in 2022, up from $1.2 billion in 2021, according to data from Regulus Partners.
Stake offers video poker, casino games, and sports betting, accepting both fiat and cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin, ether, and dogecoin. Stake reportedly pays Canadian rapper Drake $100 million per year to endorse the casino, with Drake having reportedly won $38 million by gambling bitcoin on the platform. The site attracts high rollers from Southeast Asian countries, Japan, and Brazil, and has minor gambling operations in the US and UK.
