Schumer will emphasize the need for bipartisan action from Congress on the topic and highlight potential difficulties in creating legislation for every single issue that may arise with the emergence of AI.

He will also argue for safe innovation that makes the public feel comfortable and encourage a strategy that encourages innovation. This comes after US President Joe Biden met with experts from Silicon Valley on June 20 regarding the White House's commitment to seizing the opportunities and managing the risks of AI.
