Beijing Blockchain Technology Application Association and the Social Science Literature Publishing House jointly released the "Blockchain Blue Book: China Blockchain Development Report (2023)" in Beijing.
The blue book believes that for the various legal issues existing in the current digital cultural industry (such as the new type of piracy mode making piracy behavior more decentralized and concealed, making it more difficult to crack down on; network piracy is more subdivided, making it more difficult to identify responsibility, etc.), blockchain technology may provide a lower cost and more efficient solution. Using blockchain technology, works can be copyrighted through timestamps and hash algorithms, proving the existence, authenticity, and uniqueness of a piece of text, video, or audio.
Once copyrighted on the blockchain, subsequent transactions of the work will be recorded in real-time, and the entire life cycle of the cultural and creative industry can be traced and tracked, providing a powerful technical guarantee and high credibility evidence for IP rights proof and judicial evidence.
