Cardano has surpassed Ethereum in the number of unique staking wallets, with 1.23 million addresses staking on the Cardano Network compared to 88,400 on Ethereum.

Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, praised the network's staking protocol, saying it's "pretty special" and that many people thought about how to build an excellent staking protocol years ago and made it happen. Despite Cardano's lead in staking wallets, Ethereum still leads in staking market cap with over $34.53 billion compared to Cardano's $9.65 billion.
