Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson Funds Expedition to Search for Interstellar Object Crash Site in Pacific Ocean

June 17 (Cointime) - Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, is leading an expedition as part of the Galileo Project to search for a crashed UFO or space object near the coast of Papua New Guinea.

The project, which received $1.5 million in funding from Hoskinson, aims to investigate a "meteor of interstellar origin" that crashed into Earth in 2014. The team has already found strange pieces of wire and fragments that could be from the crash, but it is too early to confirm if they belong to an interstellar object. Hoskinson has previously invested in a bioscience startup that aims to resurrect extinct species.
