On January 19th, Cardano co-founder Charles Hoskinson revealed in a post on X that 78.5% of Donald Trump's net worth of $29.6 billion is in cryptocurrency, making him one of the richest cryptocurrency entrepreneurs. This is mainly due to the Meme coin TRUMP issued by Trump. Hoskinson also pointed out that Trump's widespread involvement in cryptocurrency could lead to significant changes in the industry. His government may redefine the policy of the US Internal Revenue Service on capital gains tax and fair market value assessment of digital assets, and these expected changes may affect the regulatory framework of the cryptocurrency industry.
