Cai Wensheng: Hong Kong’s Focus Should Be on the Digitization and Tokenization of RWA

Meitu's chairman, Cai Wensheng, stated on social media that Hong Kong should focus on the deep integration of virtual world and real-world assets in the development of Web3.0. Based on stablecoin HKD, a strong ecosystem based on stablecoin HKD should be built.

The focus should be on the digitization and tokenization of real-world assets (RWA), such as bonds, private credit, trade finance, real estate, carbon credit certificates, and precious metals. Tokenization of RWA is not only the biggest potential for Hong Kong to develop Web3, but also the future trend of Web3 in the world.
