Bruce Lee's Metaverse Tribute: Celebrating the Martial Arts Icon in a Unique Digital Experience

Next-gen social entertainment platform, BYTE CITY, has partnered with the Bruce Lee Foundation to create a digital tribute to the legendary martial artist and actor in the form of a mobile metaverse experience. The immersive platform will allow fans to engage with Bruce Lee's avatar in a party gaming environment and celebrate his life and philosophy.

The tribute event will also allow fans to mint avatars of Bruce Lee on Ethereum and Polygon during specific windows of time, which can then be used within the BYTE CITY metaverse game. The collaboration marks Bruce Lee's debut within a metaverse and aims to create an authentic and captivating tribute to the martial arts icon.

The NFT market also continued to be sluggish, with a total sales volume of $46 million in June, a decrease of 26.2% compared to May. The monthly sales volume of DMarket, the in-game item trading platform for Mythos, was the highest at $18.9 million, followed closely by CryptoPunks with sales of $16.1 million. The sales of top-tier ordinal series such as BitcoinPuppets and NodeMonkes decreased significantly, by 40.6% and 41.0%, respectively. BoredApeYachtClub's monthly sales volume slightly decreased, while PudgyPenguins performed better than the market, rising by 68.9%.
