BNB Chain Teases Layer 2 Solution While Binance Launches BTC Transaction Accelerator

June 16 (Cointime) - BNB Chain has released a teaser video on Twitter hinting at a forthcoming Layer 2 solution. The announcement is expected on June 19, and while details are scarce, speculation within the community is rife. Some believe BNB will release a zero-knowledge proof solution similar to Ethereum's zkEVM, while others are anticipating an airdrop.

However, some are skeptical about the launch, with one Twitter user calling it a "last gasp" to save the collapsing Binance exchange. Meanwhile, Binance Pool has launched a Bitcoin transaction accelerator to speed up confirmation times.
