BNB Chain releases 2024 annual report: BSC TVL increases 58.2% to $5.5 billion, opBNB daily active users reach 4.7 million

BNB Chain has released its 2024 annual report, which includes the latest developments and data on ecology and technology. The report shows that in 2024, BNB Chain will continue to promote its multi-chain development strategy of One BNB, namely BSC+ opBNB+ Greenfield. OpBNB has achieved breakthrough expansion capabilities of 4600 TPS and 100 million Gas Limit per second and introduced parallel EVM. The storage chain Greenfield has launched important updates such as Hulunbeier, Ural, and Pawnee, and has launched Greendrive, which currently supports more than 30 public data sets and improves the user interface.

In terms of ecology, the daily active users of opBNB have reached 4.7 million, and BSC has reached 1.12 million. The independent address number of BSC has increased by 17.7% from last year to 486 million. The total lock-up volume (TVL) has increased by 58.2% from last year to 5.5 billion US dollars, and the TVL of opBNB has increased by 27.6% to 19.2 million US dollars.

In terms of transaction volume, BSC has an average of 4 million transactions per day, an increase of 2.5%; opBNB has an average daily transaction volume of 7.1 million transactions, with fees as low as 0.001 US dollars.

In terms of security, the number of security incidents on BNB Chain has decreased by 66% from last year, and the amount of risk losses has decreased by 67% (from 162 million US dollars to 53 million US dollars).
