BlockFi: Wallet withdrawal window closes on December 31, 2023 at 11:59

BlockFi has issued a reminder on social media for those eligible to withdraw cryptocurrency assets from their BlockFi wallet account. BlockFi states that if you have not yet submitted a withdrawal application, please submit it before the wallet withdrawal window closes at 11:59 PM UTC on December 31, 2023 (world time) to receive your cryptocurrency funds as soon as possible. Please note the following key dates for wallet withdrawals:

(1) The wallet withdrawal window will close at 11:59 PM UTC on December 31, 2023.

(2) Identity verification information requests must be received before 11:59 PM UTC on January 12, 2024.

Once the wallet withdrawal identity verification process window closes on January 12, 2024 at 11:59 PM UTC, all remaining wallet balances will be converted to cash and distributed to customers in US dollars. If a withdrawal is not requested before the end of the withdrawal window, this action cannot be revoked or canceled. Please note that any final wallet distributions that remain unclaimed at the expiration of the deadline set forth in Article VI.C(6) of the Third Amended Joint Plan will be treated as restricted property under Section 347(b) of the United States Bankruptcy Code and all such unclaimed property shall be irretrievably returned to BlockFi.
