Bitrace conducted a fund analysis on Tron addresses with obvious OTC business characteristics outside of centralized trading platforms, compliant cryptocurrency acceptance platforms, and large-scale money laundering water rooms. The data shows that in the past 24 months, more than 3.439 billion risky USDTs have flowed into these addresses.
Over half of the incoming USDT funds are medium to high-risk funds, including 14.7% of gambling-related USDTs, 20.1% of gray and black industry-related USDTs, and 19.4% of money laundering-related USDTs. This indicates that receiving USDT from such addresses and their associated addresses is likely to contaminate the address, making it easier for centralized platforms to control the funds in the address, and even subjecting the investor to investigation by law enforcement agencies.
