BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes has joined decentralized artificial intelligence platform Ritual as an advisor. Ritual's partners stated, "As an advisor to Ritual, Arthur will provide his deep professional knowledge of cryptocurrency and financial markets to further promote the financialization of AI models, GPUs, and data, help develop the Ritual brand, and develop new use cases for on-chain artificial intelligence."

Hayes stated that he was not an investor in Ritual before becoming an advisor, but could not disclose whether he received any incentives to join the project. He also could not disclose how many advisory roles he has held in the cryptocurrency field or whether he has been involved in any other artificial intelligence projects.
