Bitfinex, a cryptocurrency exchange, announced on its blog that it has resolved an information security incident and that all systems were not compromised and customer funds are safe. The incident was caused by individuals or groups accessing the system through phishing methods. As previously reported by Golden Finance, Bitfinex experienced a "minor" information security breach, and according to the company's press release, the hackers were able to access "partial, incomplete, and outdated information."
