Bitcoin Surges Near $29,000 Amid Wave of New ETF Applications

June 21 (Cointime) - Bitcoin is currently trading at around $29,000, boosted by a surge in Bitcoin ETF applications. The cryptocurrency's price has risen to $28,870 from a low of $26,700 in the previous 24 hours and has increased by 11% over the past week. Other high market cap cryptocurrencies, including ether and cardano, have also seen gains in the last 24 hours. The recent surge in prices has resulted in a global crypto market capitalization of $1.178 trillion.
