Bitcoin NFT collections have seen a significant increase in sales volume, surpassing Ethereum's NFT sales. The rise of Bitcoin Ordinals, which represent NFTs created on the Bitcoin network, has contributed to this trend.

Despite Ethereum's higher sales overall, collections such as $INSC BRC-20 NFTs and $BRC-20 NFTs have surpassed popular Ethereum NFTs in terms of volume.

The introduction of Inscriptions has led to the rise of BRC-20 fungible tokens on the Bitcoin network, but has also caused some issues with block confirmation and transactions. Luminex has proposed the BRC-69 standard to address these challenges.
