Bitcoin cross-chain DEX project Portal completed a $34 million seed round of financing, with participation from Coinbase Ventures, Arrington Capital, OKX Ventures, and Gate.io Ventures. Portal is a Bitcoin-based cross-chain atomic exchange protocol. Its two main products are a decentralized trading platform and a wallet. It is reported that the structure of this round of financing is a combination of simple future equity agreements (SAFE) and convertible notes.
