Binance exec Tigran Gambaryan faints during Nigerian money laundering trial

On May 24th, it was reported that Tigran Gambaryan, a detained executive of Binance, collapsed during a money laundering trial in Nigeria on May 23rd. Gambaryan did not immediately go to the defendant's seat when the case was opened, and he had to be assisted by his lawyer to walk to the defendant's seat from the back row. However, he fainted on the way and had to sit in the front row. His lawyer informed the court of his deteriorating health and submitted a written application to report his condition to the court.

Judge Nwite ruled that Gambaryan should receive treatment at a hospital recommended by his lawyer or another hospital designated by the prison authorities. The trial has been postponed to June 20th and 21st to allow Gambaryan to receive treatment.
