Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao believes there will not be a single thing that drives adoption in the cryptocurrency industry, but rather multiple new developments and concepts.

He noted that old use cases, such as payments, have not taken off as expected, but with faster blockchains, there have been many new developments, including technology that allows users to pay in crypto while merchants accept fiat.

Zhao also mentioned the potential for new breakthroughs in NFTs, DeFi, and social media for crypto. He believes the industry will see many more successful startups shaping the industry.
