Balancer has released an update regarding the DNS attack, confirming that the domain is now secure and back under the control of Balancer DAO. The app.balancer.fi and other balancer.fi domains can now be safely used. The team stated that after investigation, it was clear that this was a social engineering attack against EuroDNS, the domain registrar for .fi top-level domains. Balancer is exploring abandoning the .fi TLD in favor of a more secure registrar and recommends that other projects using the TLD do the same.
