June 30 (Cointime) - Azuki, a blue-chip NFT brand, has addressed the backlash received after the release of its latest NFT collection, "Elementals," which sold out in 15 minutes and brought in $38 million. Several collectors were unable to mint the NFTs due to technical issues and a condensed minting window, leading to a 44% drop in the original Azuki collection's floor price. Azuki has outlined plans to update the artwork of the "Elementals" collection to distinguish it from the original collection and is working on an anime series featuring its character universe, which will incorporate Web3 technologies. The team is also exploring ways to reward its holders, such as denoting "collector status" for long-term holders and those who own tokens with rare traits.
