On February 2nd, Atomicals Protocol announced the latest progress in its token splitting feature. This feature allows users to send tokens of less than 546 units, with the aim of increasing the flexibility of token usage and reducing the risk of token loss. The protocol completed the feature development last month and, after in-depth discussions with various independent Atomicals services, decided to look for a simpler solution based on the complexity and time considerations of integration.
In addition, Atomicals Protocol plans to release specifications and software for this token splitting technology and provide sufficient time for wallets and services to integrate it in the coming weeks. At the same time, the team will detail the substantive features of partial coloring and usage indexes through AIP (Atomicals Improvement Proposal) and plans to run existing index code on the test network to provide developers with sufficient testing and feedback time.
