June 21 (Cointime) - Ark Invest, led by Cathie Wood, sold 31,500 Tesla shares worth $8.6 million a day before Elon Musk's meeting with the Indian Prime Minister as the company looks to invest in the Asian country.

Tesla's shares closed over 5% higher yesterday and gained 45.31% in the last month, currently trading at $274 with a 5.34% increase in the pre-market.

Cathie Wood's investment management firm has been on a selling spree recently, having also sold 73,113 shares of Tesla on June 16th for around $19.05 million. Elon Musk has been looking to expand Tesla factories in Asian countries, including India and China.
