Apple has released its first-ever "App Store Transparency Report," which provides detailed information on app removals and appeals, developer account terminations, government requests for app takedowns, and more. The report is part of Apple's settlement with a group of developers in 2021 and the agreement with shareholders to publish additional App Store data. The report includes data on rejected apps, removed apps by category or violation type, terminated developer accounts by provision violated, terminated customer accounts, fraudulent transactions prevented value, average weekly visitors to the App Store and downloads/redownloads/updates.
