Solana wallet Phantom faced serious backend shutdown issues after the launch of its airdrop event today. Shortly after the Grass airdrop was launched, Phantom's backend system became unresponsive due to thousands of people trying to claim the airdrop. According to Phantom's official status page, the service has been down for about 60 minutes and the team is investigating the issue. Their monitoring system reported backend unresponsiveness, affecting many users trying to claim the airdrop.
