According to official sources, the American Cancer Society (ACS) has entered the Web3 field to explore alternative forms of capital allocation and has selected Gitcoin Grants Stack as its preferred toolkit. This is the second time Gitcoin technology has been used by a well-known non-profit organization, the first being the powerful QF collaboration pilot project with the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in 2022.
It is reported that Gitcoin is a member of the OKX Ventures investment portfolio, focusing on public goods funding and developer community support. Jeff Ren, a member of the Gitcoin Steward Council and a partner of OKX Ventures, said: "We are very excited to see the traditional field achieving this innovation through blockchain technology, and Gitcoin has brought positive social impact to the developer community and the wider society. This symbolizes the promotion of positive social impact and the promotion of large-scale adoption. OKX Ventures will continue to support these efforts and related enterprises."
