a16z: About 40 Million UNI Votes Have Been Delegated to External Groups

Eddy Lazzarin, head of data science and engineering at a16z's cryptocurrency Investment team, said on its social platform that a16z delegates around 40 million UNI votes to outside groups (with no conditions on how they vote).

With 15 million UNI votes (less than half the number delegated to others), the reasons for delegating voting rights were for a wider range of views, less centralisation of voting rights, and more community participation.

In addition, he said a16z has voted on 11 other proposals and is one of the most active members of the Uniswap community.
