X user @CryptoNakamao posted that their browser cookies were hijacked due to the malicious Chrome plugin Aggr, and hackers manipulated their Binance account to purchase corresponding tokens in the USDT trading pair with high liquidity, and placed limit sell orders at a super market price in trading pairs with low liquidity such as BTC and USDC. Finally, the hacker used the user's account to open leveraged trading, bought excessively and completed the matching, ultimately causing a loss of $1 million. Earlier in late May, founder of SlowMist, Cosmos, posted on X platform that users should pay attention to the browser extension AggrTrade, which steals user's exchange cookies and other permission information, and has caused significant user losses. Users who have installed the extension should delete it as soon as possible, and modify their platform account passwords, 2FA, reset trading APIs, etc. Please use the extension with caution.
