A new proposal initiated by the Aave community suggests disabling all flash loans on Aave V2 and reserving V3 flash loans specifically for governance-supporting entities, limiting the use of V3 flash loans to only governance-supporting entities. The proposal believes that this change will give Aave DAO's close partners a competitive advantage and strengthen their relationship with the protocol that prioritizes Aave.
