The US fraud charges against Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, could hamper Huobi's license application in Hong Kong. Huobi, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, is currently seeking a license from the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC).

Justin Sun said in a series of tweets on March 24 that Huobi believes the effects of recent charges against his other projects have come to an end.

Huobi, the virtual asset trading platform, has announced the launch of the Dominica Metaverse Bound Token (DMBT). The launch of DMBT is part of the rollout of the Dominica Metaverse Digital Citizen (DMDC), which was authorized by the government of Dominica in collaboration with TRON and DMC Labs.

Huobi disclosed to Reuters that its customers’ funds remain unaffected by the recent banking crisis in the USA since it has previously transferred all its assets from Silvergate and Signature Bank to other monetary institutions.

Huobi had reportedly withdrawn all its assets from Signature and Silvergate Bank prior to their demise.

Huobi has set up a $100 million liquidity fund following a 90% flash crash of the exchange’s Huobi Token (HT) on March 9.

Huobi recently witnessed a massive token collapse during a flash crash. The 17th biggest exchange experienced a 90% loss in market cap, which was recovered minutes later.

Earlier today, Justin announced plans to establish a liquidity fund with a $100 million investment aimed at further enhancing Huobi exchange's multi-currency liquidity.

Justin Sun is moving $60 million in USDT from one of his Ethereum wallets, after he promised to create a $100 million liquidity fund for Huobi in response to an extreme drop and then rebound in the HT token late Thursday U.S. time.

Justin Sun said the transfer is just normal practice of fund deployment.

At 3:45 pm, HT was trading at $4.70. By 4:10 pm, it was down to $1.83.
