MotorN is a Web3 lifestyle app with GameFi and SocialFi properties. It combines GameFi (Move & Play &Earn) +SocialFi+Defi to promote a green lifestyle of travel, play, and social interests to promote the fight against climate change, protect the planet, strengthen the connections between people around the world and together promote a healthy recovery and sustainable development of the world economy and people's living standards after the epidemic.

Players can start their Web3 adventure and interact and experience it on the BSC chain after configuring the corresponding NFT and regular users by casting E-Motor NFT. The Bluetooth-linked lithium-ion motorbike can be ridden, commuted, or raced, and the built-in chip knows the user's kilometers ridden and speed to earn token rewards and carbon credit assets. MotorN is an improved and innovative take on Web3's Move to Earn, combined with carbon credits and green travel, and is no longer just a mining game.

Dual-token economic model

MotorN uses a dual coin model (game tokens + governance tokens) and realizes token application scenarios and consumption through a combination of virtual and real.

Game Token: WGT (Wild GameToken)

Proposed Governance Token: FGT (Free GovernanceToken)

Players need to buy it first, holding a MotorNFT motorbike, combined with a realistic electric motorbike that detects speed through the Dapp combined with background movement data, which then generates you the appropriate number of game tokens according to the token economy model - WC, and creating a diverse scenario.

Tokens and gems are needed to repair, breed, upgrade, and open treasure chests. In-game Token production is halved after a certain amount and consumption becomes 75%. A variety of race products have been added, such as lottery, horse racing, and Texas based on trams. The rules are built into the products as a means of Token recovery and sinking Tokens into the game. Encourage players to participate in more tournaments.

Genesis MotorNFT, limited to a total amount of 10,000, is deployed on the BSC chain and has been published on the official website:  https://www.motorn.io on June 18, 2022.

Very GAMEly specific gameplay (Move & Play & Earn)

Tournament play is planned: Racing mode / Ladder / Ring mode

-The Racing Mode: there are two sides: players and spectators. Players spend FGT to play games, spectators can spend WGT and FGT to bet on the game (dynamic odds), and winners can get WGT and FGT. The race is graded and there are three levels of racing: "Beginner, middle, and Advanced". The NFT is run automatically without human intervention and the outcome of the race is influenced by various factors (NFT attributes, system random attributes). A maximum of 15 players will be admitted to each race.

- Ladder tournaments: Ladder tournaments are played in seasons and a season usually lasts for a period of time (e.g. 60 days in a season). Ladder matches can be divided into "1V1/ 3V3/ 5V5" fields according to the number of players, and 7 levels according to the player's level: Novice, Beginner, Normal, Excellent, Elite, Epic, and Legendary. Players need to advance to a certain level through the points competition (points accumulated for victories, no points deducted for failures) and then enter the promotion mode (points accumulated for victories, points deducted for failures, and will be relegated). Players will be rewarded at the end of the promotion season. There is a limit to the number of entries per player per day.

-Challenging Competition: There are two sides, players and spectators, and you need to pay fees when you enter. Players (up to 64) compete in 1V1 races in separate arenas, while spectators place bets on the players using dynamic odds. Different parts of the bike will appear in the different courses and the players will choose their own parts to assemble the bike for the race.

Regular mode:

  • M2E for WGT and FGT, treasure chests (containing NFT) and other enrichment items, etc.
  • Rental mode: Players can choose to collect multiple NFTs and earn rent by renting out NFT electric motorbike.
  • Cooperative mode: As opposed to the competitive nature of racing, it encourages players to collaborative riding with each other, promotes friendly interaction between offline players, and contributes to the formation of a good reputation for MotorN.
  • Blind Box Mode: players set the start and end points before starting the ride, the system does not display the ride data in real time after starting the ride (enter the blind box), and only after reaching the destination or after the player manually stops the ride, will randomly get more (high probability) or less (low probability) than the normal mode ride earnings, the purpose is to encourage players to reduce the frequency of looking at the phone during the ride, to achieve the purpose of safe riding, and at the same time through the random reward incentive players (theory based on: Skinner's random reward experiment).
  • Dismantle + Enhance NFT: Players can dismantle owned NFTs to obtain enhancement parts that can be used to enhance the properties of other NFTs they own.
  • Assembled by move harvesting various accessories, NFT upgrade, exchange into physical electric motor; easy to form last period memory, invisible propaganda, reduce deal-hunters. 

Payoff period

The shortest payback period is around 35 days when you buy Tokens to quickly upgrade your car to level 10.

Without purchasing Tokens, it takes approximately 45 days to upgrade to level 10 through in-game output.

The payback period is balanced at around 35 days after level 10, with higher daily WGT and gem production available after upgrading the car.

MotorN's six steps to avoid the 'death spiral'

1. WGT and premium gems buy NFT car coins’ principal return cycle will lower the threshold of entry for new players

2. Coin management: Add in-game activities, and use FGT to exchange WGT in-game at a premium. The amount of WGT exchanged is related to the amount of instant WGT in the player's hand

3. Pledge consumption: You can increase the pledge count by consuming gems and WGT Pledge FGT interest is also FGT3.

MotorN's physical tram launches development

MotorN says that when the profit pool reaches a certain level of revenue, a certain percentage of the profits will be taken out for physical tram production. The DEM agency will collect the purchase intentions of the target users worldwide, then MotorN's Singapore headquarters will afford the order for the design, and buy out the patent, (it is proposed to set up a complete vehicle factory in Vietnam and Indonesia depending on the situation for self-research and self-production) to order from the OEM Chinese manufacturers, and the users will purchase the vehicle through A P P (condition monitoring, O T A upgrade), and the buying and selling process and the use process will be uploaded to the carbon credit exchange simultaneously to ultimately achieve the goal of carbon reduction.

For different users, MotorN has initially selected several trams with different characteristics.

One of the NFT-anchored electric motorcycle products has already generated a wave of discussion on social media for its trendy and stylish appearance. The trams are all purely electric and also fit in well with the MotorN green concept.

MotorN debut markets: Vietnam, Indonesia

MotorN's choice of Vietnam and Indonesia as its debut markets is easy to understand.

Vietnam is known as the "land of motorbikes", with 45 million motorbikes in the country and an average of one motorbike for every two people, including the elderly and children. In Vietnam, motorbikes are a necessity, and when a child reaches the age of 16, his or her parents will usually give him or her a motorbike as a means of transport, and even the Vietnamese themselves say that "without a motorbike, you are nobody".

Motorbikes are also a necessity for every Indonesian household. Due to the large size of the ocean and the abundance of oil in Indonesia, fuel-powered vehicles are the mainstay of Indonesian transport. Out of Indonesia's population of approximately 270 million, the number of motorbike users stands at 133 million. There are now 5 million applications for motorbike licenses in Indonesia every year, and before the epidemic, there were 10 million applications for motorbike licenses every year.

But it also makes Indonesia one of the world's biggest carbon emitters, ranking 17th among the world's most polluting countries according to the IQAir index, and one of 195 countries that signed the Paris Agreement in 2015. Air pollution becomes an issue that the Indonesian government wants to address urgently.

According to the roadmap, MotoN will soon zoom in on the whole of Southeast Asia.

Plans for 2023

In 2023 MotorN will issue NFTs anchored to physical trams; physical cars and peripherals will be launched for global sale; development of the carbon credit system goes online; certification of the global carbon credit system is completed; MotorN invests in partner tram companies 2024-2025 to launch SPAC.

MotorN Project Team

The MotorN project team was established in Singapore in July 2021 with founders Girish and David Hee, both from the National University of Singapore. Professor Garg, a PhD from Concordia University in Canada and a professor at the National University of Singapore, is the mentor of the MotorN project, and Fuh Gih Tan, a renowned Singaporean investor and director of a listed company, is the advisor of the MotorN project.

MotorN's vision is to improve the climate, protect the planet, change the world, and contribute to the world's economic recovery and the sustainable, healthy, and quality survival and development of human civilization.

MotorN has built-in GameFi, and SocialFi elements of the single-coin on-shelf model - earning rewards in the form of eligible trips, social, competitions (O2O), and more. The two-legged STEPN is about mining for healthy living, a two-wheeled tram telling the same narrative again would not suffice, a more ambitious proposition was needed, and carbon neutrality definitely fitted the demands. I don't know if it was inspired by Ma Yilong's Tesla, but after careful consideration and scrutiny of the specifics of Southeast Asia, MotorN decided to cut into this big green travel-themed pie with a two-wheeled tram, and it's only logical that it's already a success in Vietnam.

The core of the success of the X to Earn model lies in whether or not the act of X brings a contribution beyond the mining itself, a contribution that generates "earnings" for another entity. MotorN not only sells mining NFTs but also has plans to set up an offline tram flagship shop to provide sales experience, maintenance, and customization services, from online to offline, so that users can earn, the project can profit and the planet can harvest green.
